What's New
We
offer several new traited hybrids
for the 2010 planting season as well as some new and very impressive
conventional hybrids. In the spring of 2009 conventional hybrids were
very much in demand due to changes in the economy that we have all
experienced. We expect this demand to continue. We do and will continue
to have conventional hybrids in our lineup as they offer very good
value at reasonable prices. In some situations, the conventional and
the traited version have the same genetics. Keep in mind that we can
supply your seeds in bulk boxes which can be a labor and time saver.
There will be a deposit charge on bulk seed boxes that will be refunded
upon return of the box in good condition.
A
wide range of seed treatments can also be applied to the seed including
fungicide, insecticide, nutrients and growth enhancing products. All of
this can add a lot of confusion to the market place.
Soybeans: There is a limited supply of a new
Genuity™
Roundup Ready 2 Yield® Soybean 2.1 maturity. Also new are two
LibertyLink® varieties (1.6 and a 1.9 maturities). The demand
for
conventional beans has increased so we have three new conventional
varieties in our lineup of beans.
Maturities of 1.6 and 1.9 and a 2.1 maturity that has a clear helium
and could be used for the food grade market. |
